Memorial Scholarship

The John-Paul Rodrigues Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Ossining High School graduating seniors in memory of John-Paul Rodrigues, a 1998 graduate. John-Paul was a Village of Ossining sanitation worker who died on the job July 20, 2005. He was a hard-working, streetwise young man, devoted to his family, helpful and considerate to everyone. The scholarships are given to students who help others with the expectation of nothing in return.

Each year the John-Paul Rodrigues Memorial Scholarship Foundation* awards $500 to each selected student.
